This year's epic costume is Mario and Yoshi, for my 5yo

I 3d printed the details; these would be covered in felt later:

Using Pepakura software to create patterns, I cut the rest of the costume out of closed cell foam

Yoshi's head

Yoshi's body (turtle shell saddle was 3d printed)

Working on the Mario body, my sons real legs would be Yoshi's legs.
